Biography
Md. Anwar Hossain is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine and Public Health at International Medical College in Tongi, Gazipur. He is a professional public health expert who has sevenyears of teaching experience. After completing his MBBS from Anwer Khan Modern Medical College in January 2015, he received his Master of Public Health (with a major in Community Medicine) from Mymensingh Medical College. He started his teaching career in 2016 as a lecturer in the Department of Community Medicine at Anwer Khan Modern Medical College where he worked for one year. Then he worked at the Medical College for Women and Hospital as a lecturer. He also used to teach as a guest teacher in the public health department at Open University, Bangladesh. Later he joined as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at International Medical College in December, 2019. Additionally, he served as a guest teacher at the International Health Technology Unit in Bangladesh, teaching community medicine, hospital practice, and first aid to B.Sc in Health Technology (Laboratory) students. He has several publications that have been published in various esteemed journals in Bangladesh. He possesses a strong passion for the spheres of education and research.
